IIRC, from FMF's site, they state with airbox lid removed requires 30 pilots and 260 mains, needle clips middle groove.

After having my stock carbs bored, I went with 30 pilots, needle clips 4th groove down and 310 mains.

Airscrews almost backed out completely.

I wasn't pulling the bowls in the dunes to change the pilots, but I did move the needle clips into the middle groove, and man, what an improvement.

Since then I changed the pilot back to 27.5's and the airscrews 1.5 turns out but I haven't ridden it yet.

I would never go by what they say jetting wise . There jetting is just a window to get started with . Literally everything effects jetting . Temp, humidity, elevation etc etc . Best way I find is plug chops with fresh plugs.

Way to lay into RU!!

He can be a dickhead!!

Yes carb sync is very important.

At idle and at part throttle.

I think you mentioned you have a K&N air filter, correct?

If so, that's great because that means a pro design intake flange is installed already.

I believe you can get a 2 stage uni filter for it.

K&N's suck without outerwears.

I safety wired my outerwears to my filters because I was tired of the elastic stretching and letting sand get on my filters.

Also noticed with throttle cracked on a roll it hesitates just like my YZ did with that stupid throttle position sensor set up. I adjusted air mixture screws on carbs after changing pre mix to 36:1. Ended up a two turns out on each . Come to find out that's what the manual calls for . The bike need choke to start when cold so pilot must be close or spot on. I need to look over the service manual and read about the stock carbs.

One thing I'm not use to any more is the ground clearance on these sport quads lol. My Polaris RZR 900 has 16in ground clearance with 3 inch lift and 30 mayhems .
