Strm Trpr
It's better to have and not need then to need and not have.Man, you've got that right.im def getting the modded shify shaft on my next order from fast, gonna hold out on getting my gears cut until i really have some shifting problemsIf your motor is apart, do it.I rode a 97hp 485 cheetah pv over Labor Day Weekend and it had a Redline Pro Mod trans in it and man it shifted like budda! It shifted so smooth the only way I new it went into gear was it just kept going faster and faster!! I can't wait to get a Pro Mod.
camatv
i include the modded shift shaft AND the modded star. i dont do the gears only i only do a complete package. i dont know who is doing jeff's for him right now. i will say i sent a couple to him and was working on a deal with him but it never came to be. he may have gotten mad because i engraved them with my name instead of fast. looks to me like 6th pinned the lower rod bearing let go piston to cyl clearance became 0 and piston hit head caused a bent rod. most likely if it dosent have 6+ years on the crank bad tune or lean out from running that far wide open with no power jet, bowl fuel capacity to support the added rev time.
