camatv Posted September 23, 2015 Report Share Posted September 23, 2015 any competent " assembler" can buy one of those "kits" order domes from whoever "builder" they prefer. assemble the complete motor correctly and right pipe combo, carb combo should be able to make decent power.. the problems come from 'assemblers" who have no clue how to tune, how to set up bikes for problem free running or are just to arrogant or to lazy to take the time to really learn about these piles of money pits. every builder and everyone started from ground 0 no matter who or what they are. some just learned faster than others, maybe copied more stuff than others, could afford and spent the time on dyno's and advanced tuning techniques. and or are the BBD at the time. nothing wrong with any of that its how this whole industry works. let alone pretty much any thing revolving around money and life?! there is nothing wrong with a guy wanting to build his own motors. i support that all the time. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
