Darkblade
i just finished my build it has a hot-rods 4mil long rod crank 66mm wise-co 795 pistons mx/trail port cool head 21cc domes fmf gnarly with pc2 pipes chariot billet intake with vf4 reeds uni foam pods Ive been trying to jet it correctly i have a 30 pilot and Ive tried from a 300 main to a 340 main and results have been the same a lot of vibration like its running rough dull sounding and it doesn't rev as high as it should some times when i start it the right cyl wont fire and other times they will both fire some time the left wont fire and the right will but its mostly the right side that wont fire Ive swapped plugs plug wires and nothing but when i swapped the left and the right carbs both cyls fired the needles are set on the center clip and my idle screws are almost all the way in and it barely idles iv also put new plugs in it twice so its not bad plugs
hercalmighty
Are you running a spacer plate or do you have the domes cut for a 4mil? What fuel are you running? Have you done a leak down test, a squish test, and a compression test? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
Darkblade
spacer plate the cyls were not able to be ported for the stroker 93 with amsoil dominator at 40:1 no leaks 135 in both cyls squish was .

That sounds odd. Where the cylinders ported prior? A spacer plate is only to keep the piston and head from contacting. Never to compensate for timings
hercalmighty
You might just a have a wacky setup. Either your port timings are way off or something else is funky. With 21cc domes your compression seems a little low and your squish is a little big. Do you know what thickness your base gaskets are? Maybe try some thinner base gaskets to drop the cylinders a little and tighten up your squish Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

Darkblade
are they stock carbs? Yes they are stock 26mm makunis and ive cleaned them several times just to make sure they are not the problem
Power_Man
Yes they are stock 26mm makunis and ive cleaned them several times just to make sure they are not the problem Stock carbs on Banshees have a LEFT carb and a RIGHT CARB. I'm thinking seeing you freely swapped them back and forth that even if you have them in right, that you have misplaced the "choke tube". Left carb has the choke. Put it back on left side. There should be a hose that runs from the right side of the left carb over to the left side of the right carb. You will see the nipple of you look. I imagine they are sucking air. Another thing is on top of missing the choke tube is possible slide in backwards.
Darkblade
slides are in correct way the cant be put in backwards because i have the idle screw so it wont go in backwards if the choke tube was missing it wouldn't be causing this problem would it

You should be able to see the arched cut away from the air cleaner side if they are correct.
