got1banshee
I was teaching my old lady how to drive me banshee and she just took off in first wide open over reving and blew the engine up. The left piston and rod seperated and banged up the cylender wall, piston pieces went into the crank case. I dont thing that it messed anything up in the lower end but I do need to split the case to clean out all the shavings. Is there any secrets on spliting the case and puting it back together? Where do I get the jugs bored out or is there sleeves that can be pressed out and new ones pressed in? As you know by now I am new at this and the only way to learn is to ask questions and just do it. I cant think of anymore questions at this time but any additional info would be great!! I thank you for all your help. Thanks Rick
broke
Seriously buy a Clymers manual. Splitting the cases is easy, just time consuming. Assess the damage when you have it completely apart. There are alot of shops on here that can take care of any damage that she may have caused. broke
