rzresurrection
Coolant blowing out of the overflow usually means a head gasket problem.
Lowroll
do a leakdown for sure. I did mine and had a small leak, absolutely could not find the leak, so I rode it. Had massive overheating issues, turns out my dome O-rings had slipped out of the groove and compression was leaking into my cool head. Got new rings, rebuilt the head and she held pressure for 17 minutes without any leaking before I finally let it off. I feel much more confident this time. Going to ride it tonight to see if all my overheating issues are solved too
willaduncan
Anytime you disassemble the motor even the head you should do a leak down test Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hondaracing02
its not blwoing out radiator cap though, only overflow. so shouldnt be headgasket. has never done it since after hours of riding it. pretty sure it was just adjusting coolant level. thanks! hoppedupandcutdown
When mine did that on a new to me bike, I measured how much coolant it took to top it off. When it took exactly the same amount twice after different lengths of time riding it, I figured that was it too. BTY it was like 2oz, never went below the cores in the radiator anyway.
