freakk_nique
I just had my engine rebuilt I hooked everything up correctly. I start it up, it runs fine but when I give it some throttle antifreeze leaks out of my bottom case from the center two bolts that are side by side, I torqued them to 20ft lbs. I'm completely lost, can somebody Help me
lil Doobie420
its coming from the topend somewhere. start with the hoses and headgasket.
lil Doobie420
its going thru the drain hole in the case thats why it looks like its leaking underneath.. ive had luck with using black light dye on hard to find leaks on cars before. hoppedupandcutdown
#1 guess - Bad o-ring on tube into clutch cover, or if your luckier the hose from the tube to the head.
camp0429
Could be the rubber plug in the base of one of the cylinders. This happened on mine, had to tear a brand new build apart and replace plug
freakk_nique
I loosened the bolts to where the coolant was coming from. The studs move side to side I think they were over torqued and broke inside the case
hoppedupandcutdown
Like Doobie said, it my be dripping from those nuts, but is NOT coming from them. Look Higher, it's running through the drain hole on the middle of the cases...for sure.
