hick01
I have a stock clutch basket and was wondering if anybody has replaced the cushions in one and how they did it. Any info and pictures would be great thanks ?
BANSHEE HP
You can't rebuild a stock basket, they use rivets instead of bolts
sheerider11
Just get a Hinson basket....better yet, get the complete clutch set. for right around $1700 or so you can have a bulletproof clutch and peace of mind. Do not get a Hinson basket. Get a redline or a mattoon billet anodized. They use a heavy duty bushing/backing plate/bolt. Hinson uses shit ones that warp and break and blow up your clutch and destroy shit. Seen it happen on more then a few.

sheerider11
Wowzers... That's bad.Yup. So it'll compress the bushings, press against the backing plate and force it out. That will eventually blow the heads off the bolts. Catastrophic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hick01
I saw a post a while back where somebody drilled and taped the stock basket and counter sunk bolts on the back of it just didn't know if any has seen or done it. I searched all over for the post.
