03banshee88
https://vimeo.com/135819693 So the clutch did work but I had to replace a washer on the basket so took the clutch out. Just put everything back and it's doing this in every gear is the clutch shot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
move your pressure plate one bolt hole over so the splines line up
dozer
Agree with the guys above, most likely didn't get the pressure plate lined up on the splines correctly.
03banshee88
What do you mean as far as moving the pressure plate one bolt hole over Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
03banshee88
I had the arrow on the pressure plate lined up with arrow on inner hub Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
Well somethings put together wrong, even a wore out clutch should hold just pushing on it.
03banshee88
I did the spacing with the steel plates going around I adjusted the clutch with the arrows on the case. I don't know what else I could have done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
03banshee88
Do you have any suggestions I could take a look at Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
What washer did you replace? Did you adjust the arrows on the case with the cable completely loose at the handlebars first?
03banshee88
The lock washer for the clutch basket. And yes I did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
do you have a big fat thrust washer on each side of the basket?
03banshee88
Yes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
I'm about out of the most common problems... back to the pressure plate, you sure you lined up to an arrow on the inner hub, not just a casting dot? As in the splines engaged?
03banshee88
Yes I had the arrow lined up to the arrow. I also put one of the thrust washers in the one between outer and inner basket because it did not have one when I bought the 4 wheeler so it was making a knocking noise that's why all this happened but what makes it weird is because the clutch worked before I tore it apart and added the other thrust washer and lock washer that was torn up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
