Fouling plugs so I'm thinking it needs resetting I'm not sure what's in it now... Looking for help on figuring out what's happening and/or jet sizes... Thanks SHEE PEEPS!! Larry's Shee
If it ran with current jetting before porting, that's not your problem specifically.
Surfrjag
report back with jetting and check your flywheel pickup gap and spark plug caps. a weak spark will cause fouling plugs
Deanshees
Ok I will pull the carbs and check... And yes it did run fine before porting... I'll get back will jet size
Larry's Shee
That formed on flywheel nubs while waiting on cyls.
Deanshees
I'm pretty mechanically inclined... So pulling both carbs at once will be fine... I pulled and put the motor back in

They should've gave you some baseline jetting info. Sent from my LGL34C using Tapatalk

Deanshees
When I did the break in on the new motor it ran and started every time very well... Then probably the 5-6th start up it started fouling plugs...

Larry's Shee
That formed on flywheel nubs while waiting on cyls. Supposed to say "rust" that formed. Funny how it takes several posts for the whole story. By chance done a leak test ???
Deanshees
Both plugs are fouling... It ran really well for the first few(3-4) start up/ rides
Deanshees
Have not done a leak down test... I pull ONE of the carbs and it has a 290 main jet and a 25 pilot jet... Re jet or no reject?
trickedcarbine
Pilot is certainly way lean, but to be ported on a 290 main and still foul plugs... Something fucky is going on. May need to go through electrical and do all the simple stuff.
