mx1986
Recently got a 10 mill cub that had some custom domes in it. They read 21 10 .018 on the stator side and 21 10 .022 on clutch side. I know what the numbers stand for I am just curious to why they are different then each other.
Surfrjag
Check squish. Someone may have mixed and matched?
RadarRacing
CC , angle, and "step" or lip at the outer edge of the squishband in thousandths. They may have damaged a dome at one time and used another good dome in a pinch. 2 thousandths isnt a huge deal really if squish isnt on the tight side. Check squish for sure and you may find that the squish is off by 2 thous or they may be the same. I have seen numerous sets of brand new domes out of the box that the step was 1 or 2 thousandths different.
Bennett131
Wouldn't it be .004 thou difference? Still don't think it's a huge deal though.
RadarRacing
Yeah. 4 different My bad. Probably had an alky set with tighter squish and a gas set with looser squish and mixed and matched a spare after messin one up. I run the same compression but tighter squish and a bit different dome on alky.
