Big Mike NY
Sleeper 06 knows what happened to my buddie's brand new 4 mil built banshee with all the bells and whistles built by FAST. We took it upstate NY back in early February this past year to make its maiden passes. Mind you the heat cycling was done prior to this. The temps were 12* F without the wind chill. I video taped both passes, the first pass he took off banged the gears like it was an automatic and the bike fucking flew! Came back about 5 min later on a WOT pass coming towards me, and the bike sounded off and it was breaking up. We killed the motor and called Jeff from FAST and told him what happened. He asked what the ambient temps were and when we told him 10*-12* Jeff's exact words and I quote " I'll bet the farm you hurt that motor" with less than 15 min on a brand new motor. Lesson learned! Sleeper 06 did the rebuild because he's awesome and he's local, he could probably tell you the extent of the damage he saw... Lesson learned!! special06shee
You cold seized it. I did the same thing a handful of yrs back. Motor was also done by jeff. Piston/wall clearance was on the tight side and i didnt put enough heat into it before treating it dirty.

I always let my machines warm. Just doing that won't be enough in my environment though. Northwest Territories can get cold.
FTSFTWNFU2
FWIW Is this a general rule for most machines?
