zillakilla02
You should leakdown test it and make sure you aren't sucking too much air from somewhere else. Float levels set right? Mine would start hard when my float levels were off Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
willaduncan
Sounds like an intake air leak Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mandolezama
I haven't did a leak down test but when I tried my friends carbs on it, it started right up like one or two kicks so I'm thinking it something with my carbs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mandolezama
Ok I will do a leak down test sometime this week. Also when I changed my pilot jets I noticed a nettle tube on the bottom of one of the carbs is missing not sure if that's a problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mandolezama
Ok so nothing that will cause a problem then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doug Austin
Sounds like the float bowls are swapped. There is a left and right bowl. In the bottom of each bowl is a small well. The left bowl has a small jet in the bottom the right does not. This supplys extra fuel when you pull the choke lever. If there backwards you have no choke. Mandolezama
Ok thanks for all the help everyone I just did a leak down test and before it got to 6psi I could hear air leaking from the reeds gasket where it bolts to the cylinder. I will check the float bowls and replace the gasket and update after I do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mandolezama
Ok so I replaced the reed gaskets and replace to clamps to the cross over and leak down tested it again and it held 6psi for longer than 30 min without dropping. Now it's starts right up just have to adjust the carbs now to get them to idle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
