zillakilla02
So I found a sweet deal on a 370 long rod motor the guy just wants to get his money back for the hot rods crank he put in it and hates to see it sitting around. I've been looking for a spare for a while now so it works out good! My question is with the long rod motor is the only thing different I need is pistons? I am planning on putting my 392 cub cylinders on this bottom end so I'm not sure what pistons that would require or if it will work or not. Anyone ever built a 392 cub long rod? Thanks for any help Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
zillakilla02
The top end needs a rebuild that's why I'm thinking I'll put my cub cylinders back on *** Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
Strm Trpr
Long Rod 392 requires these pistons >> 573M06800 http://www.cpindinc.com/pub/view_product/32?lm=3&name=CPI-6854
Strm Trpr
You might also want to hit up Driveline for their new badass blaster equivalent piston. Wiseco's Blaster piston for your exact application. http://www.wiseco.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ItemID=573M06800&ModelID=444&ModelYear=2002&AppID=
BANSHEE HP
Wsm makes a direct replacement piston for a long rod stock stroke. We can get those. Our pistons are a 6mm offset he needs a 5mm, like a 795 wiseco but in 68mm.

I don't see a 68mm 795 Wiseco piston in that Wiseco link. http://www.wiseco.com/ProductSearch.aspx Check the link I posted to CP's site. http://www.cpindinc.com/pub/view_product/32?lm=3&name=CPI-6854 So, is what I posted wrong? Your correct they have it listed as the piston to use and with a .012 gasket. So just figure the cylinder is same height as stock but .008-.010" lower than stock with a .012" gasket, the rod is 5mm longer. A 573 is a 6mm offset, so the piston would be give or take .032" further in the hole at tdc. A very shallow stepped dome could be cut so the squish wasn't in the high .060s-.070"
BANSHEE HP
You see on the smaller bore cub they use the 795 piston. I know they don't make a 68mm 795 but it's what you would use if there were one. Either in zilla killas case we can do either piston. sleeper06
I'm a fan of the wsm piston , they are lighter than wiseco with bigger windows and rev very nicely
