wayne_smith97
It shouldn't have any jiggle at all. Post a video.

shee_rider350
Found out that I have a bad flywheel, and it's most likely missing and out of time. Dose this sound like the source of my problem?
wayne_smith97
Found out that I have a bad flywheel, and it's most likely missing and out of time. Dose this sound like the source of my problem? Is the key sheared? Is the flywheel rattling? I've only had one bad flywheel and it didn't bog. Hell it didn't start
shee_rider350
The key is good, it starts some times. Other times it will back fire and kick my leg back. It's like it's missing
sheerider11
I've seen the rivets let go and start to rattle
wayne_smith97
You could try another flywheel. If you got a buddy with a banshee
shee_rider350
I unfortunately don't know anyone around me that has one.
hoppedupandcutdown
does it move at the rivets? that would cause your timing to fluctuate.
shee_rider350
I don't know I'll have to look, but there alot of play in the whole thing.
hoppedupandcutdown
there should be zero play in a flywheel and it's installation. Get a good flywheel.
shee_rider350
So that's what is causing my problem?
hoppedupandcutdown
the timing pick-up triggers are on the outer ring of the flywheel and the key in the shaft keeps it in it's proper position. If those move it will change your timing and do what you say your bike is doing. Still no pics or vids, and you've not checked your flywheel. BUT from what you say it'd be a good start. shee_rider350
Here's the thing tho, I have a rmstator on right now, do I get another rmstator. I can't get a oem one because it has a aftermarket crank
