badboyzracing187
Hi there, need some help. I just purchased a 2002 banshee. I noticed one of the reeds is broken. It has vforce reeds and cages. My question is, how do i know which type of vforce reeds i have. It doesnt say anything like "vforce 3 reeds" or something like that. It just has a purple label that says vforce reeds valve. I noticed these cages have 8 reeds instead of the stock 4. I only need 1 but how do i know im getting the same ones. If i get different ones and only replace the broken one, would it affect it in a bad way? Thanks in advance!!!
sheerider11
There vf2 then. The new pedals run about 110-120. For a few bucks more you can get vf4. I have 2s that when I need to replace them I will just get the 4s You replace both sides all of them. If one broke the others aren't far behind. It's a piece of carbon opening and slamming shut millions of times. It's not worth the risk. Also with 2 the screws can back out and break reeds. Just something to check
Big Mike NY
My banshee is at Sleeper06, he's putting on my shearers and retuning it. I noticed the pipes had oil drilling out of each tip. Upon inspection Carl told me my VF2's (the originals that I bought with banshee brand new). The VF2's where cracked and I immediately went ahead and ordered the VF4's from F.A.S.T problem solved!
