Jetting help

I bought a banshee back in march, have been riding it and the jetting is way off. I have vforce 3 reeds, fmf gold series pipes, k and n air filter with airbox lid. Can someone please steer me in the right direction for. 1 main jet size. 2 pilot jet size. 3 needle clip location. 4 any other recomendations. Thankyou

Stock carbs, no port, 600 ft above sea level

Go to jetting forum and type in what size jets are you running and look at the different settops .

270 -starting point in main

27.5 pilot

Needle in the middle clip.

 

Start there and read plugs

Might want to do a leak down. Don't want to jet around an air leak. Good thing to do when you buy a used banshee and after a fresh rebuild. Your pulling the carbs anyways. It's a piece of mind and cheap insurance.

when you say the jetting isnt right, do you think its lean or rich? whats in it now for jets?

It's too rich, Honestly I checked the mains and they weren't hex jets and im not really sure of the size because they didnt have 270 for example on it, I beleive it said 18, as it was a round jet with a line through it

Are they mikuni carbs?
