Aussie Quad Racer Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 is it running on both cylinders? Quote
Demon350 Posted November 28, 2003 Author Report Posted November 28, 2003 i hope so man i just took it out and its not so powerfull, the right pipe gets cold whilst the left 1 is still warm, somits up Quote
bigboreshee Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Sounds like the right is running leaner than the left. Could be a lean carb, air leak on rightside, right rod bearing may be going out. Noticed my right pipe was running hotter than left, next day rod bearing went out. Might want to take those cylinders off and check things out before you run into a big problem like me. Quote
Demon350 Posted November 28, 2003 Author Report Posted November 28, 2003 ive been running it and my top end power sucks, ive checked the carb a few times, u recon its my piston ? Quote
Banchetta Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Are you sure you got that choke tube connected in the proper spot...someone else reported they put it on the overflows instead of the choke holes.... Quote

bignasty1 Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 are your carbs n'sync that can also cause your problem are your slides in correctly? the cut out part goes back. how are your spark plugs are both cylinders getting gas is one line clogged maybe? Quote
Demon350 Posted November 29, 2003 Author Report Posted November 29, 2003 yes there synced, i think the air screws are wrong cuz my friend touched the left 1 which is fine now and left the right 1 which is bad, or there mite be some dirt stuck in the carb Quote
