PaymentPlan
who on here has this engine?
trickedcarbine
There are a few. There is one in the dyno section but rajun hasn't ran it yet.
PaymentPlan
I wanted to talk to a couple of people on here and see how they like the super serval. Mine should be done next year Feb-March. Not sure how popular it is but it seems like my style.
RagunCajun
Only other guy on here I know who had one, sold it. But there's some 10mil serval owners here who love their bikes. I would assume the smaller boost in power isn't night and day. But I don't know.
PaymentPlan
I think I will really enjoy it too. Ragun, did redline completely build your super serval? are you going to run it on pump or race fuel
Burke
researching a motor after you've ordered it? cart before the horse deal here huh?

RagunCajun
Yes he did it all and yes on pump. Yours is ported by him?
PaymentPlan
He's doing mine completely from scratch on 110 octane. Its definitely going to get ported, but im not sure how I want the power delivery. Do I want it to be a tractor or rev out, idk yet
RagunCajun
I went for a tractor, broad broad delivery. I'm not sure how it will feel on top end. I hope it doesnt feel too flat. It will just be a play around bike. Honestly, an as-cast 4mil serval on pump would of been all i needed power wise. Better to had too much than not enough i guess. Keep in mind, my timing etc was very conservative. I wanted to make a good bit of broad power without a lot of compression. I didnt care what the dyno said. I dont understand how curves transfer to seat of the pants any way.
PaymentPlan
I would be content if I can get my porting to deliver 60% bottom end then 40% rev. Obviously I want both but it's give and take. On race gas I can get more aggressive on my porting
RagunCajun
60% bottom end then 40% rev. Can you explain that in another way?
PaymentPlan
My bad, I could of worded that better. What I mean is based off of port work, I would want power to be more distributed towards my low end grunt, while having some top rev to use. So I gave a %, 60/40 or 70/30. Maybe you can re word that
RagunCajun
Oh ok. I think that's what i have. The pipes are custom big bore shearers too. Should pull nicely on top. If it doesnt feel like a banshee, ill get port work redone. I doubt ill be disappointed.
