Well..... You could go with a 4mil stock cylinder ported bike...

But heres basically the breakdown...

Serval....More of a well rounded power.....the power band comes on much lower than most aftermarket cylinders and still has great top end.

Cub.....has great top end but it's real peaky....it doesn't do well if you like low rpms.

Wampus..... It's basically a wolf in sheeps clothing. It's a drag setup aftermarket cylinder that LOOKS very similar to stock jugs....basically it was designed for grudge style street racing.

Did some searches and found a thread, but didn't want to revive a 3 year old thread so i just took this quote from it.

On the F.A.S.T website they list cheetah CUB and serval CUB.

But jereme6655 says that Serval is different than a cub?

From my reading lately i see that Serval, Cheetah, Wampus, Etc are all just different types of cylinders? Where does the CUB come into play?

just the name of the cyl more so...

the post you quoted explains what each is....    "cub"  is just what they named it.. has  no real meaning.

The quote also has "cub" as a cylinder type by itself, so when i read the website i got side railed.

If someone was to list in order of all types of cp cylinder, benefits and cons of each. I may try to make an easy to read chart.

well you do have the PV cheetah ect...    needless to say if you where looking at a "cub"   knowing our terrain i'd advise a serval 100%  unless your drag racing or doing ovals

where abouts are you in ontario?  pretty sure there's a virgin set of cylinders local to me I could probably swipe for 150-200 bucks.. just no idea on bore size yet.

yeah, I'm going with a sevral. i figured by the time i buy some virgin cylinders, ship it down, have it ported, ship it back it will be close to the same price as a serval kit.

I'm in Trenton. you?

There is the cheetah, cheetah cub, serval cub, wampus cub, cheetah dm, and cheetah dmx.. They are shorted to cheetah, cub, serval, wampus, dm and dmx. There are also super versions of some of these. Super is normally 72mm bore vs the typical 68mm bore.

Perfect, that's the info i was looking for.

I can look up bore sizes on their site but I think some don't list all sizes and strokes.

Also from reading locos post, the DM's don't like gas due to small Coolant area or something like that. Things of that nature.
