twayne24365 Posted June 30, 2015 Report Share Posted June 30, 2015 With my new banshee needing a top end rebuild, when i took the cylinders off they were perfect, no scratches or nicks. So i took em to my friends shop and he gave them a lite hone. The bore measures 2.52" or 64.008mm, would a std piston work or do i need to have it bored. sleeper06 Posted June 30, 2015 Report Share Posted June 30, 2015 Put it this way if it was .005 cleRance I would leave it and ring it as soon as u go to put a scratch in it your friend took away material, it doesn't take much. Bore it your already past the threshold . Most stock bore Pistons measure under 64 but it doesn't hurt to check .
