Can you melt a plug by letting off of the throttle in a high rev?

You are being told something other than the truth IMO. That plug is burned off from being lean .VERY LEAN. I have burned em off at the track or dunes from running bowls dry. It very well may not be the shops fault if you have a clogged carb jet, ran out of fuel while running hard in a higher year, clogged or pinched fuel line or other fuel delivery problem. Could even be jetting related or blown crank seal or something else. Or it could have been the fault of the engine assembler. That is up to you to find out and between you and him. That doesnt happen from chopping the throttle.

I would love to find someone local. Can you send me a message or something with your contact info. Not sure what direction I'm going to go yet. Lots to consider but thinking about parting out both my bikes and building or having built a sick, like 7 mil 421 cub or something. If you have read any of my post or topics, it's obvious that I'm new to this but would love to learn more and meet more people but have had some BAD luck with shops so far. So please let me know how to get in touch with you camatv. Thanks. What part of the state are you in?
