Moe.Laub
It turns out my inner hub does not spin freely. Iv tried everything I feel was possible. Iv double checked my washers, bushings, gears. Everything seems to be in properly. I'm lost. Help would be much appreciated
sleeper06
A few things can cause this either the brass internal bushing on basket is offset , collar inside bushing is worn down allowing washers to grip basket or you put something in wrong
sheerider1026
It's in nuetral right?
sleeper06
And assuming you have no fibers and steels installed, if you feel like shipping your equipment to me I'll take a look at it on my mock up engine , just an option if your out of them
Moe.Laub
Yes it is in neutral. No fibers or steels
Tedder
Is it the inner hub/pressure plate that's tight which would tie into a tranny input shaft bind of some kind or is it the basket not spinning free which would be more towards a bushing issue. Moe.Laub
Yes the inner hub wouldn't spin when I put the 32mm nut on. The steel bushing in the basket must have been worn down and was causing the inner hub to touch the basket when tightened. I picked up a new bushing and it seems fine now
