Anyone running this setup at around sea level? I'm running a 190 main jet... Seems like it should be rich but I have a grey plug tip, And barely wet. I know I should probably just do a plug chop. I want to run on the safe side so I may do 195 main. What are you guys running with this setup. Also does a boost bottle make a leaner condition than if I didn't have a boost bottle. Should I do away with a boost bottle? Hoping for some suggestions.

Why not call up LDR racing and ask them what they would suggest for their port work? But I'm still dicking around with mine which is a fairly similar setup but with 35s and I think I'll be around 160-165.

34 pjs on ported 4mil, shearer pipes at sea level i had 152 mains, 48 pilots cel needle in the middle. i would do a leak down test if i were you to verify you dont have an air leak.  Also what fuel are you running

195's are ungodly rich. Depending on porting, they should be in the 145-160 main. 48-58 pilot. Needle say second from the bottom. Idle will always be 7 1/2 turns out in choke.

For your set up, can you list your full set up in detail? Pods, pipes, domes, etc.

Stock head/some toomey t6 with stock air box and k&n. Bike is setup for the woods. See my problem was last fall my hot rod crank siezed up but my pstons didn't burn up. They had shrunk so pistons needed to be replaced though. This was after a fresh rebuild top and bottom end. I've been riding another quad since but I'm taking the banshee out this weekend for a lot of riding and am nervous about engine damage. I doubt there is a vacuum leak but I can check that with throttle, body cleaner and see if the rpms rise. Could a air pocket in the cooling system cause a crank bearing to seize but only one of the bearings?

Woah. Okay. So since you have a stock head is it cut for the 4 mil? Or do you have a spacer plate?

Pistons don't shrink.

Do a proper leak down test so you can also check the crank seals.

I see another rebuild in your future, I wouldn't ride it till you do a proper leakdown test and not with throttle body cleaner with an actual tester, compression test it, coolant pressure test it, . Or take it to someone who has the tools to do s proper job banshees get a bad rap because of what's going on rite here . Where do you live

Ok I will do a pressure test. And yes the cylinder head was machined to fit the 4mil It has all new seals and gaskets. I think it had to have been a air leak before. So I will do a check on that this time.
