ken b
Im in the process of building a 535 pv its been to passion racing have installed in the bike again had it on the dyno 71 hp at the rear wheel not 100% happy with that but what ever. The problem im having is finding a set of air filters that don't interfere with the exhaust and frame it has 39mm d slide carbs and shear bb in frame pipes any help would be great. Sandking
Wow 71hp ouch. If your using reed spacers take them off and use the angled pods. If it's still tight put the heat sleeves on the stinger pipes. The upp intakes also tighten things up.

ken b
Nope no spacers the exhaust is all wrapped, What do you mean by upper intakes tighten things up
special06shee
Upp intakes dont throw the carbs back/up as far as other intakes. Billet intakes are the worst for tight spots.
special06shee
And yes, do yourself a favor and have that motor gone over by someone that knows a thing or two. 71hp is absolutely embarrassing. Those are a beast of a motor when built right.
ken b
It does have UPP intakes on it does that mean I just buy new air filters every couple of rides? I thought I did send it to someone who new what they were doing have any suggestions of a better person?
Sandking
Take a picture of your filters and post it. Cascade sells sleeves that won't mess the filters up.
special06shee
You can get cascade sleeves for the stinger tubes. The filters can lay tight up against them and will not melt. They sell them in two different lengths. I believe 8" and 16". Id call around to various builder that have dynos in house. No reason that motor should not make between 100-130hp depending on carbs, pipes, fuel. 71hp is not even ball park numbers of what that thing should make.
