RadarRacing Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 165 doesnt seem all that big to me with 39 pwks. Pipe heat and coloring can be from being rich or lean. Too rich can send some unburned fuel into the pipe. On a gas bike it is unlikely because you said it runs good and it should run like poo if it were rich. 1 Quote

I ran my 421 serval super fat for a bit, it ran good still. I was about 3 jet sizes fat. But it did run well Sent From My Trail Bike Quote
theputz Posted June 20, 2015 Author Report Posted June 20, 2015 What jetting/carbs/elevation did you run? Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 21, 2015 Report Posted June 21, 2015 I just read through this all again. Your bottom end bog is likely due to the 39s and drag pipes. Unless you're strictly drag racing there are better components you could be running. As it stands, I still say your jetting is way too rich for your elevation unless you have an air leak. Quote
