guero
Hey guys, I recently just bought a 08 banshee. when shifting down and hitting first gear the shifter feels really spongy. it has no issues shifting or anything and all other gears feel good. im just curious if that's what your guys shifters feel like or if they are really crisp hitting the bottom. any other quads I have own or rode always felt solid. its just weird how it feels springy when pushing on the shifter in first gear. hopefully that all makes sense! thanks! trickedcarbine
Once you rack first, if you keep pushing down it will feel like the lever is able freely float up and down about an inch. Totally normal. It won't just click down and be rock solid.
guero
Yeah like it clicks and everything does feel normal... just with boots on and trying to find first it felt weird with out it bottoming out. It was also my first time actually riding it and getting a good feel for it. Im sure with time i will adjust to it.
Coupelx
if you are comparing it to say a honda setup, yea it wont feel as "precise".
