Atomic Monkey
Flip it over and get a pic of that up. Curious to see what the transition into the transfers looks like.
BANSHEE HP
they may be ok to use, they may be complete junk... theres many things that could determine whether cases are useable or not

trickedcarbine
Usually you don't see that with out trenching. There appears to be a blob flowing in to the transmission case area as well?
Moe.Laub
Yes there is. I sanded it down so the trans will clear all of it
Moe.Laub
And the cases are not trenched
sleeper06
I've seen it plenty as bhp said on larger strokes , who knows maybe someone planned on trenching and never went through with it. I have filled the top case in the back to play with aux transfer fuel entry but that clearly was not well thought out
registered user
Who ever did it looks like they filled up the dowel pin hole and probly half the stud holes then tried to file it down with a cheese grater. Have fun with that mess
sprinklerman
Trash can those. Sealing surface looks fubared.
Moe.Laub
It's gunna be a 4mill long rod motor. The dowels were filled a little bit but I cleaned them out and the buildup or epoxy was kinda high so filed everything down flat. Rumor is these cases came from Brad Tyson.
