Larita09
Got a banshee and works fine but the problem I'm having is that it has the TORS eliminator kit without the idle screws so it obviously won't idle unless I pull out the throttle cable at the handle bars. I ordered the screws but was wondering if I do any harm or performance issues if i set it to idle by the thumb throttle adjuster until I get the screws in. oldskool
You would be lifting the slides with cable instead of screws holding slides up. Check carb sync
trickedcarbine
You can get by adjusting the cable at the carb tops or throttle. However, get the screws in ASAP.
Larita09
Seems best bet is to leave alone til I get the screws, plus my carbs are in sync so I'll leave them as is my bike doesn't see much idle but at warm up.. Thanks for the replies
trickedcarbine
Ya, using the adjusters to hold it up will start to stretch the cable faster. Probably ok for a short time but not something is do long term at all.
