toytech
subframe is probably bent.
Chevy4life32
I have to agree that its a bent subframe. Mine looked just like this and bounced around side to side when I rode it. I fixed the bend in the subframe and now my seat sits flat and doesnt move. Are your rear plastics rubbing on the back edges of the seat? m671054
Should be 4 pads total on the seat. 2 shorter ones go towards the front. That should help the side to side play. Idk about that gap though. Pics of front seat latch and underside of seat removed might help
SoonerFanAZ
Is there a possibility that when the seat cover was put on that it was too tight hence the bend back? How new is the seat cover? Its still the stock seat and cover

m671054
Missing 2 front rubbers for sure. Might be hitting left pipe but it seems like the rear latch is not working correctly.
Deadbeat
why would missing front rubbers create the gap if anything the seat should be closer to the tank without them
m671054
The rubbers are not the gap issue but they create side to side looseness. Somehow this seat is to far back when latched. Seems impossible if the rear pins are going into the locating holes in the fender/subframe.

sheerider11
Only logical reason is your subframe is bent down. Have you own this bike since new?
Nightmare
Pull the rear fenders and take a side shot of the subframe.
