jstew
My shee has recently started puffing white smoke. This indicates to me that maybe it's burning antifreeze. I have installed a cool head, but it's been on for six or seven months now without problems. Are the orings susceptible to cracking and bypassing antifreeze. The shee has been sitting for a couple of months now and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I've heard of oil and gas seperation. I'm running 50/50 race with Castor. Do the plugs look a certain way if it's burning antifreeze? I'm just looking for someone to get me going in the right direction. Roost On! jstew
ledofthezep
I'd say it's leaking antifreeze somewhere...I'd check the head gasket & like you said...the o-rings in there & make sure nothing cracked while shee sat. Couldn't tell ya w/the plugs, wait a few & surely someone can tell ya--good question.
boonman
Being that you are running Castor oil, that is your explanation right there.... Castor oil will seperate over time, and load up in the bottom of the tank. Then, when you fire it up, you are rinning a 10:1 mix or so of oil in the fuel.... Shake the hell out of the bike to hopefully mix it up.....
