strokin it Posted April 27, 2015 Report Share Posted April 27, 2015 Ok i have a 88 shee my first it looks all stock i got it a week ago off a lady who got it in divorce so she didnt know any thing about it when i went to look at it fired right up ran fine i got it home 20 min later it took few kicks but ran good for 30 min or so i went to shut it of with kill switch didnt shut off i pushed on it and it shut off now wont start no spark the kill switch was re wired to a new button but same light i have a new kill switch for a dirt bike i tryed and nothing it dont have torx box or pluged in it had bunch of stock parts wire harness cdi stator to newer wheeler wich looks like its all cut up to a drag harness iv checked some wire diagrames and im lost if it would work or not but ive changed the stator and pick up but still nothing i have a coil with rtv on wires i fig it dont work but checked it any way nothing what should i do next the 88 harness looks mostly intacked i see the white and green wire was corroded in just stator plug so i tryed a jump wireand nothing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However, if you are having electrical issues you need to ohm out your stator and coil. If those check out then buy a new harness and you're done. Go back to the kill switch, best I can tell from you shit sentance, that's where trouble started. Not all switches are the same. Some are normally open, some normally closed.
