Sheedawg28
Clutch arrived and I'm now soaking the plates to put this in. Debating on whether I should use all the springs it came with or doing half since I'm not going for big hp numbers so it shouldn't have a problem grabbing.. dankengineering
I would use all the springs, i recently installed redlines hd clutch along with a new cable an pancake bearing an its butter, thats with the 70ibs springs. My motor has wcr agressive trail/mx port vf4 rockets...doesnt make big numbers sent from somewhere
Sheedawg28
The only reason I'm debating on using them all is because I slip my clutch and use it a lot on the track so the added effort to pull my clutch in would tire me out quicker and since I've never used their clutch I don't know how much harder to pull it'll be ya know. trickedcarbine
Try three OEM and three of the driveline springs. If you are the type who gives the clutch a good work out, it'll only be worse with excess spring pressure.
Sheedawg28
For sure I mean the stock had been holding up fine so I figured it would do just fine doing half and half. I definitely do give the clutch a good workout but hopefully with the added power the head gives me it won't be as bad and I'll be able to lug it a bit more use a higher gear and still have the powerband kick in quickly I bought different gearing as well so we'll see how the -2 swinger, gearing and a little more power does when I take her out again. Thanks for the confirmation tricked
bluebanshee98
A nice clutch lever (asv c5 or 6 series) would be very beneficial. Awesome levers and make pulling the clutch feel like butter even with all hd springs
