Chargersfanjared
Put on a Tors eliminator kit and rebuilt the carbs. Ran fine before but now cuts out at WOT. Runs fine until about 3/4 throttle. Noticed it has 200 mains. I think it has 28 pilots? Not completely sure. I know he gave me a set of new 27.5s. It was a full ProCircuit 304 exhaust, .010 over stock carbs with proflow and uni clamp on and no airbox lid. I live in Charleston WV, elevation around 597 feet. Any idea what jets to start searching at? I know it has an aftermarket needle, it's red, but I'm unsure what notch it is on. Sorry for all the questions, first time with something twin cylinder. Thanks for the help! Edited April 20, 2015 by Chargersfanjared
98_sheester
Idk what pro circuit calls for jus on the pipes but fmf starts with a 260 main but im also 1200 asl. Did you do a plug chop
Chargersfanjared
No. Just put in some new NGK B8ES plugs. I have several jets that came with it. 290, 300, and 340 I can recall off the top of my head
98_sheester
Id start high amd work my way down im running 300 mains with 27.5 pilots. Go to the the jetting forum and read the thread says "What Jets Are You Using" see what people are using that have some of the same mods n such that might get you close

bigweav81
Your main maybe close with 290-280. 27.5 pilot. Those needles are probably longer then stock. I had some, and switched back to stock needles. Sent from your mammy house
uman1030
Vitos needles are Red, Slightly thinner and longer then the stock needles. Making them a little richer in the midrange area then stock. As stated already 200 mains with pipes and open filter box is not a large enough main jet and likely your issue. make sure the tors brain was left unplugged after you installed the removal kit.
