CHANCELLOR12
Hello, last year i bought a 1987 yamaha banshee, it has twin k&n filters with prechargers, how much water can they handle? Would i be better to switch to a stock airbox if i wanted to go through mud and water? Would i lose much power? Thanks Edited April 12, 2015 by CHANCELLOR12
Dubol22
I'm not the right person to ask but it just seems to me that an airbox with the snorkel that comes on them would be best for water. But I have seen a few mods that say don't run the top of the box but I cross some water from time to time so I run a K&N filter with the full box myself. But like I said I'm not one to ask. Good luck
SAVAGE420
I run through some mud and water. I use a big single K/N and outerwear with a air box adapter plate, tossed the lid, cut the back off the box and have a chunk of panty hoes over it all. Good to go, repels mud and water pretty good. Unless you got deep mud boggin in water you will have no problems.

trickedcarbine
All preference. Run as little restriction as you can get away with comfortably.
