fastbanshee8
You won't fix it, unless you split the cases. It's really that simple, and it's not that hard, or time consuming to do.

trickedcarbine
When I was 15 I was terrified. I had just paid out the ass to pay a local shop to assemble a motor and it was gone for over a year. Got it back and it blew up the second time out. They were supposed to weld a stock stroke hot rods. Instead they just pulled it out of the box and tossed it in. My old man was a machinist and I spent the day in the garage with him building a fixture to check the crank. It was about 60* past FUCKED! So, I said if I can pay a moron $1,500 to build me a motor full of short cuts, I would damn sure do the same or better for far less. I pulled my champion sized huggies and got after it. Watch a few you tube videos and look over your Clymers Manual. Then get camera, sharpie, and zip lock bags or clean containers of some sort. To my surprise it turned out to be a Mechanical OREO COOKIE. Dude, it's quick..... Really the worst and most time consuming part is cleaning everything really well. If no one is home, they clean up nice in the bath tub on a rubber mat or even better the dishwasher if you don't have a parts washer. Don't over think. Take it apart and take photos and label everything. Post here on shit you're not sure of.
