wayne_smith97
I'll buy the whole motor for 100 plus ship. Today. Is that quick enough? Good luck
sheerider11
Good luckWell wtf. He wants to fix it. But not the right way. I'll buy it as is. If that's to low, it needs a trans and the whole motor rebuilt. So what's it really worth? Let me guess, it ran great before it broke. wayne_smith97
I tried to buy it at what I felt was a good price considering me having to drive to Wisconsin to pick it up. He still wants nearly 3k for it. That's why I said good luck

Let me guess, it ran great before it broke. yea. it still runs. im against splitting the case because 1.) yes i would like to sell it and dont want to mess anything up worse. 2.) I dont trust myself and would have to order all new gaskets etc(yes i know gaskets are minor but i risk causing more leaks by messing something up.) 3.) because usually the push rod should just slide right out anyway, its just a matter of figuring out how to unstick it. and 4.) because even if I do take top end off, the cases are going to be stuck together by the push rod, which takes me back to square one, where i remove the pushrod the way it is, without the cases split.. If I have to, yes i will. but would certainly prefer not to

Fuck off back to broke ass jigaboo land.
wayne_smith97
its not really for sale as is. specially for 1200. That's fair considering that the cases have to be split and I would have to drive from west tenn to Wisconsin.

So you have no knowledge of these engines. But your going to totally rebuild it and then sell it as a good running bike? Is that about what's going on? And, its also not for sale. wayne_smith97
Just get you a clymers manual and follow it to a "T". Best of luck to you.
Larry's Shee
nobody knows how to get the push rod out? there has to be another way then splitting the cases, either way the rod ones between the cases. Most all know how to do it, and have basically explained how, but you insist there's another way. Actually there is. If you Google search, it was mentioned in a thread in the last five or so years. I refuse to go into detail as you have flipflopped about selling just like polititions do on things. And I beleive you intend on selling it after applying a Presidential Solution. The "repair" I refer to was done on a riding trip of considerable distance and was repaired properly later, which I know you have no intention of doing, you Demo. If you have no faith in your mechanical abilities or how to follow a repair manual, you need another hobby. There is no engine easier than a Banshee to split the cases on. One hint I will give is clean case mating surface with laquer thinner, spread 3Bond/Yammabond with an acid brush, nice even coat, don't goop it into threaded hoes. (pun intended)
hondaracing02
thanks larry, and this political crap is so confusing. funny how this world works. i dont even know what a republican is to a democrat. know nothing about either.
