Tyshee06
This is my first time posting on hq. I picked up an 06 shee last summer has a couple bolt on mods VForce 3s, fmf gold, tors removed, no air box. When I bought the guy said he only ran it in the dunes so it was jetted and tuned for 0-100 ft elevation. When I got it home I tinkered with it and found that the rings were toast in the right cyl. So she has 0.10 over wiseco pistons with roughly 6 hrs on them. My current issue is I just rejetted my carbs running a 25 pilot 280 main at 3200 ft. I took it out last weekend and it ran great, got it home now and the right cyl isn't firing consistently. I checked my reeds, re-synced the slides, I don't have a compression tester, but with the top end so fresh I don't think my rings are toast. I'm at a loss at moment. This is my first banshee so any help would be greatly appreciated.

sheerider11
Well. Your right side was "toast" before. Why did that happen? Did you fix why that happened? It's happening on the right side again, coincidence?
Tyshee06
The air fuel screws were backed out to te point of falling out. I'm assuming it was running so lean that that was the cause of the rings burning up.
Tyshee06
The 06 bikes came with a compression jet, check that, should be around 1.2 jiggawats. If it's 1.5 or higher that's the problem Compression jet? That's a new one for me.. Any further explanation on that one please?
