Sandking
Buy a better compression tester if 94/92 is correct time for a new top end.
Gumball12
I had a similar problem and it ended up being a leak in choke connecting tube between the two carbs. Put a new tube and the problem disappeared.
Gumball12
I doubt compression is your problem being that the two cylinders are so close and the bike starts. I used a cheap tester on a build and it read about what yours is reading. Used a buddys snap on and got around 130.

special06shee
Before ya buy anything, unscrew plug caps and trim wire back about 1/4" or until you get to solid wire. Screw caps back on and try it.

lil Doobie420
Set the pickup gap by the flywheel. Worth a shot .
yfzrider2005
Not sure if this helps, but i cant get it wet or it wont run, has to sit for a day. And what is the pickup gap? Never heard of this. Still stock stator from 1996 when shee was born.
