gusto
I don't know shit about paddle tires but have a set of 4 snow. Would these be good for a tip to the dunes? Also there is a set of dwt doonz tires here, are they any good? Or just save for some paddle brats or skat traks?

gusto
Thanks. Any recommendation for a decent cheap paddle. I will not be making the dunes more than once or twice a season so I don't want to spend a lot of cash. Looking at used tires up here, sand stars and doonz come up but I don't know if there good or not.
sheerider11
I've had sand stars on my bike for a few years. There good. Not great. But not bad. My bike over powers them. And up in 5th 6th gear they kind of give out and don't do much at high speed. But they slide good and don't bend and crack easily. I've had them for 4 years on hard pack to sugar sand. They are just starting to split and show wear.
RagunCajun
I tried it on my little 4mil a few years ago on my only trip to dunes. They spin like hell off the line and around 4th they start working somewhat decent. I borrowed some massive haulers i think they were called and the thumb throttle became the wheelie button after
