Demon350 Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 how do you sync carbs... and what the hell is tors, i regret buying new pipes now Quote
Justintoxicated Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 The tors are the weird tops to the carbs with the cables running into them. typicaly you can adjust the slides hiegth useing the 2 knobs on the airbox side of the carb tops, there is also a pilot screw that must also be adjusted. But that has nothing to do whith getting new pipes, it has to do with adjusting to the new jetting inside your carbs. New pipes requre re-jetting, its a pain but very worth it, and its something you should learn to do on the banshee anyways. This means changing your needle pilot jet and main jet settings. Quote
Banchetta Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Agreed, you HAVE to learn to rejet whenever you change the air flow of the motor, if not you'll be rebuilding it......Do a lot of reading on this page. You'll learn more than you think....it'll also help you understand your shee a lot more.... Quote
