RKJLOW Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 trying to synch my carbs up I can get it synced up with the fast tool but the slides are pulling uneven by sight.... so i adjust them with out the tool (dead nuts pulling up at the same time) the synch tool reads diffrent from each carb what's going on here? did a compression and leak down blows 120 each hole and held 6 psi for 30 min Quote
Larry's Shee Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 make sure carbs are pussy clean and have same size jets in both. Might have to tweak air screw. 1 Quote

RadarRacing Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 I ignore what they look like for sync and trust the airflow the tool reads. Quote
RKJLOW Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Posted March 10, 2015 im wondering if one of the carbs is fudged i had a lean runaway 2 weeksback it passed a pressure check but hmmm. they are cleaned twice now may i should try a third time.... Quote
sleeper06 Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Lower the idle screws till there not effecting slide height, adjust cable play so each carbs pulling up at Sam time, then go to the sync tool , don't forgot to move idle screws back up before you start. Also don't forget to leave a lol free play at the thumb Quote
possum Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) that will work Edited March 11, 2015 by possum Quote
