dalegoldston
Ya, Its been a while. How much has the camping changed? Do you have to reserve spaces? How about the cabins, still there. Need some info. Gonna make a trip around March 12. Thanks D.

slobanshee
The state park itself allows you to reserve some nice spots south of south gate now. They concreted them. Other wise it hasn't changed a whole lot.
dalegoldston
Do you have the Web site? I'm not having luck finding the site I used that listed all the state park spots.

camatv
if you search for a while you will finlly come across a map of the sites on the south end that are reservable. i dont know why that is so damn hard to find. its burried in the webbsite. at least last time i tried to reserve and didnt know the exact number of the site i wanted to use.. cabins are there but last i heard they smelled like puke and piss, and the floors were falling out of them. dalegoldston
That doesn't seem to show tent camping. I know its not a very user friendly site. Edited March 4, 2015 by dalegoldston
bluebanshee98
If I'm not mistaken you reserve a spot there and park/ put tent there
fastbanshee8
The primitive/tent sites aren't spots you can reserve. They are still first come, first served spots. All spots with electric, and water have to be reserved, but you can only reserve them a maximum of 11 months ahead of time.
dalegoldston
OK that makes sense as to why the tent spots do not show up. Thanks for the info.
trickedcarbine
Can you reserve a lot with the power and water amenities and still put up a tent? Or are they camper only?
