Yalec23
I just recently put a different stator on my banshee and installed a battery with some sweet LED's. I took off my fmf fattys and put on cpi's and took off my v force 3 reeds and put on v force 4 reeds. I didn't jet it. It ran awesome at home (elevation is sea level) and then I went to sand lake and on my first flippin ride, it ran like crap and started shooting blue flames out of the right exhaust. So I took it back to camp and looked at it a little bit and couldn't figure out the problem. I tried different plugs and switched the coil, cleaned the carbs thoroughly. It's never been rebuilt. It will idle but when you give it throttle, the left cylinder runs fine but the right cylinder will bogg and then backfire like it shoots out air. It had good spark when I put the stator on because I checked it. The reeds are brand new, it starts fine, I think fuel is dumping through the cylinder but idk. It's been a long time since I messed with it because it was pissing me off. I took my right pipe off and the rings don't look like they have much life left. Idk. It's almost time for the dunes so I need to figure this out. 04 Banshee Never been rebuilt Stock motor Cpi inframes Vforce 4 reeds Still have TORS New stator LED's

Yalec23
Good question. Not stock. Maybe 310 and 27.5???? I'm not sure. It ran great at home and I went for like 6 rides before I went to the dunes.

If start there. And you don't know what's in it now. You didn't do a leak down when you pulled the reeds and replaced them.
Larry's Shee
Dollar says lean burn down on right cyl. Ever do plug check/chop after new reeds and pipes??
Yalec23
No. I've never done a plug chop. But I think my stator might be the problem.

Larry's Shee
For shits and giggles unplug the fucking TORS "brain" , left frame right by gas tank.. Clean timing nubs on flywheel, set pick-up gap at BOTH nubs. Are jets Mikuni? or who knows what aftermarket/egay/chinese shit???
Yalec23
I am going to get rid of the TORS. What's the GAP supposed to be at? Maybe I'll take the carbs off and check the jets.
