RustyBillet
Anyone been to both? I can't imagine Kermit being worth the extra hour or so drive over Waynoka. I like Sahara, I know it's not anything like the west coast stuff but it's the best I know of within 8 hrs of east TX. Opinions please for Kermit, or any other dunes around. JCSO605
I am curious if Holly Beach in Louisiana is still open to atvs.
Burke
Kermit is smaller than LSOK, but they supposedly built a store similar to Don's there since the last time I was there. There are no good sized dunes or bowls, but lots of really small choppy dunes and quite a few trails... no dragstrip to speak of. I definitely wouldn't make a longer drive to get to Kermit over LSOK. Nightmare
Kermit is cool for the kiddos. We only stopped cause it was on the way home.
