ninjamaster
How much would it cost to have mission yamaha mod my banshee or build me an 8mm stroker motor that has ADA head 15cc domes, V-FORCE REEDS, PROX PISTONS, 35MM KIHEN CARBS, CPI in frame race pipes,K&N clamp on filters, cylinders that been ported to the max for top end performance. How many hours would this last and how much horse power would it have?
raxen
I'd look to spend 2400 at the baseline for the parts and labor that you listed.
MULLET~BOY
yeah probably looking at 2500 you can probably get a full dune seasion out of the motor mabey a lil longer if evry thing is done right and you break it in right i duno guessiong about hp but i'm gona say 90 on gas ? sounds about right guys with a full dragg port ? don't forget your gona need liek a plus 8 inch swing arm and gona need your shock resprung so its not squishy i never really heard anything about mission yamaha except from the artical dirt wheels did on them i usaly try and stay away from places that are in dirt wheels but who knows i would call some places befor chozing on a builder i know patriot racing douse good work i hear good stuff also about grr also pasion racign i hear good things about just call and ask prices and what they do at least mabey get some good info duno for sure but might wana look at cpi big bore pipes wouldn't a 8mm be a big bore i would think couse it increses the stroke witch makes higher cc's talk to your builder about that
Leadfoot350
It would be about 4000 at mission because they are a dealer. What are you planning on doing with this motor?????? Do you think that you can handle 90+ hp?? I dont think that you can. You should call shops and ask them what they are good at. Call rudy at port magic and ask him some question he is very smart 760-244-8834. Ted at mission will give you a mild port good for dunning not draging unless you beg him to make a drag port for you. Call patriot and some of the others who are locals here passion too.

Leadfoot350
BLUE did you go to the back of the house? That is where his shop is at. Ya he never answers the phone because he is trying to work. lol He cant port while he is on the phone. I agree with you about ted being a mx style porter because I barely beat a ported 250r atc with a mild port and side pipe.
