Yamo
I just took off the carbs the first time since i bought my banshee and I just wanted to clean them out and see what was causing a small leak so took the float bowl off and the float needle just to see how clean they were and i put everything back together i made sure the needle jet went into the main jet hole and i made sure everything was sealed properly and when i went to start it back up it sounded different and a lot more smoke came out and it wont idle unless i give it some gas. before i took the carbs out it idled fine and would stay on idle. anybody know what it could be? I would appreciate any insight thanks.

nickolasengland
My banshee is sputtering on high end, it's jetted appropriately and cleaned carbs and changed plugs, could it be a ecu or stator problem?
Larry's Shee
My banshee is sputtering on high end, it's jetted appropriately and cleaned carbs and changed plugs, could it be a ecu or stator problem? WELCOME !! Starting your own thread might work better than jacking this one. How do you know it's jetted right? We'll need more info to help. A list of all modifications that you know of. Main and pilot jet sizes. Elevation and temps you ride at. FYI, Banshees have a CDI not ECU.
