trickedcarbine
Andy had wang webs, but did a lot of rod testing to find out which ones he was comfortable with.
BANSHEE HP
For the record if he did any testing it was after a dozen of his first cranks either broke rods or literally didn't fit in the cases because of the massive welds on the pins. gusto
Good info ^ So if a guy like me wants a 7 mil crank and don't want to pay for billet who's am I buying? And new Vito over the Hot Rod for 4 mil?
registered user
If your dead set on all this mumbo-jumbo why wouldn't you relocate a stock web? By the time you buy a 4 or 5 hundred dollar crank just to take it apart you could get a stocker damn near free and the money you save would more than pay for the machining. Then you would have a crank that is "all yours" if i was gonna go to all that trouble i would rather relocate the holes on prox webs as they can be bought diassembled and the rod pin isnt cast into the web. i dont believe theyre keyed in the center though. i like the vitos idea with a key. theres alot of different +4 crank options. vitos, hotrods, wiseco, wsm, crankworks, theres even a few more no name brands. for the price im liking the vitos
