sheerider11
You shouldn't have to ask to many questions. They'll ask you all the need to know stuff. Any reputable builder should get 99% of the stuff right the first time. But as with anything there is always unforeseen circumstances. Are they just porting your cylinders or assembling the complete engine?

Burke
Will you be able to understand the answers to the questions you think you need to ask... port timings, squish, dome designs, etc... Just call a good builder or 2 and talk to them about it
trickedcarbine
Things you need to know when you call around to builders: - Know your desired ride style and power delivery - What Parts you have that will work with new build, and what you'll need - What fuel type - Budget
locogato11283
Figure out your budget for the build before you waste anyone's time. The builder will be able to tell you what you can afford.

trickedcarbine
Have the head rechambered, not just decked. Rebuild the waterpump and clutch. Replace all bearings and seals. Go through the stator side and adjust the pick up.
