Just installed Lectrons

Nobody cares what you like or what works for you. They just want you to accept their opinion as the gold standard and if you don't agree, they will use a toilet plunger to force the thought in to your head...

 

Unless you need a huge carb there's no real reason to run them. They don't make anymore power and they're expensive as fuck.

 

Any carb that was set up correctly initially will be easier to tune than one that wasn't.

Not all of us send carbs off to a builder to get setup every time we change pipes.

 

I can bolt these up to various size motors and they will be good. They came off a 4cub, work flawless on my 10cub. And I know many more motor sizes I can bolt up and go. And tune "myself" within minutes with no guessing game, or sending off to my "builder". Thats how easy these are. Is that not worth it?

 

Like you always say Loco, whats another 100 for convienance, reliability, or preferance. But when it comes to something you dont understand, its a waste.

When i got my lectrons I called packard right away. He said set the rod at 48.5 mm and x amount if turns on the pj. Went right to the dyno and i was 1 turn of the rod away from my afr's being near perfect. By far the best carbs I have had as far as adjustments.
